Our staff of landscape professionals includes talented landscape designers, helpful sales staff, equipment operators, and landscape installers who will transform your yard. Our staff is comprised of friendly professionals who will take time to answer any questions you may have.

Meet the owner

Owner Daren Rokicki is a graduate of Nichols College with a Bachelor of Science in General Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Today, Daren strives to deliver landscape products and services in a professional manner. Daren involves himself in every aspect of the business to ensure the quality and service that Birch Mountain Earthworks is known for today.

When Daren comes out to look at your project, know that he brings with him not only the experience of completing hundreds of landscape projects, experience with permits and variances, but also the most capable line up of equipment and trucks in the industry to perform your job.

Daren is known to have the most creative mind in landscape construction. He has come up with the layouts and designs that most could not imagine. While out on landscape consultations it is common for Daren to hear, “no one else has come up with that” or “we have had a few guys come out and this is the most creative concept by far”. He enjoys using this creativity to bring the nicest landscapes in the industry to you.

With over 20 years of experience in the landscape industry Daren can help with your project. Starting in eighth grade Daren began mowing neighbor's lawns and plowing snow. He then did landscape projects through high school and college for those same customers. Each year that followed became busier and involved larger scale projects as the word spread about the expert advice, quality, and craftsmanship. What is known today as a "Birch Mountain" job is the quality that started from the beginning, only better.

Joseph Rokicki

Seasons at Birch Mountain Earthworks, LLC: Since Inception

Joe is a mechanical engineer with a Bachelor’s Degree from Northeastern University in Boston, MA.  Joe also has a master’s degree in Management from Rensselaer University.  He applied his engineering background at Pratt & Whitney for over 30 years.  He has also owned a business building cabinetry, home building and remodeling.  He is a master carpenter, excellent welder, and a superb bulldozer operator.  Joe is hoping that you have a job needing bulldozer work because he loves to use the bulldozer.

When Daren began doing landscape projects, Joe would help with projects to make sure they were properly engineered.  He has helped Daren with his business and mentored him throughout his entire career.  As Birch Mountain has grown, there has been a need for Joe to work full time for Birch Mountain.  Today he works 7 days a week at Birch Mountain.  He is extremely dedicated to his work and does all possible to ensure quality projects.   Joe lives to come up with better methods and techniques to have projects come out the best possible.  He has researched and developed several tools that are used every day on projects that have added safety, quality, and efficiency.

It is likely if you stop by our showroom on a weekend you will see Joe doing some type of project in our shop.  He is always happy to answer any questions you may have and often gives great explanations for any engineering questions you may have.

Landscape Designer/Account Manager
Mary Fox

Mary Fox is a Connecticut native who has been a passionate gardener for most of her life. After planting and studying a wide variety of trees, shrubs, perennials, herbs, and vegetables in her own landscape, Mary went on to become a Master Gardener, and then earned a B. S. at the University of Connecticut, with a double major in Landscape Architecture and Horticulture. Since then, she has been a professional residential landscape designer, working with homeowners to create landscapes that are meaningful and memorable. Her goal is to seamlessly unite the architecture and hardscape of your home with its planted surroundings. Hardy, low-maintenance plants with four-season interest, appropriate to our local climate, are emphasized, and your site is carefully analyzed to ensure that each plant is sited correctly so it will thrive. She will work with you, the client, to develop a unique vision that also takes into account any functional needs that make your outdoor environment comfortable as well as beautiful.

Shaun Davis

Shaun has refined his skills at Birch Mountain working on hundreds of projects.  Many of the projects showcased on our website Shaun has constructed.  He has worked in the landscape industry now for over 15 years and has helped Birch Mountain become and continue to be the industry leader in landscape construction.

Justin Giglio

Justin has a great passion for landscape construction.  Many of the projects showcased on our website Justin has constructed.  He has worked in the landscape industry now for over 15 years and has helped Birch Mountain become and continue to be the industry leader in landscape construction.  Justin wants you to know he is also a very good fisherman.

Corey Savage

Corey has now installed several great projects working with the team at Birch Mountain.  Having worked in other types of construction he has a broad base of knowledge that he applies to each project he works on.  Corey’s contribution has also helped Birch Mountain continue to be the industry leader in landscape construction.
